Rich and Hayley from the Morning Portion are visiting various small businesses in and around Portsmouth to switch on the Christmas lights in their office! We’re taking mince pies, crackers and our decorating efforts to different places and playing them all out on the breakfast show. The first venue for the tour was Day To Day Teachers in the Technopole Building in North End. Rich and Hayley joined Jill, Faye and Karen for the switch on, and enjoyed a bit of bucks fizz too! Hayley was given the special job of putting the star on top of their office Christmas tree, before giving a small speech and them switching on the lights!.....On DAY 3 – Aquarius Driving School - Dave Franklin from Purbrook drove his office to Rich and Hayley – his learner car from Aquarius Driving School.   Rich and Hayley decorated the inside of his car with pink tinsel (Hayley’s choice) a fat Santa basket and lights!....On Day 5, Rich and Hayley went to decorate the office of Andicars in Waterlooville. Emma, Jo and the rest of the girls all chipped in with some help, as well as choosing a Christmas song. The guys went for a black and gold theme on their tree, to coincide with team colours…brilliant!.....Day 7 - The Hayling Build Centre - Rich and Hayley went to Hayling Island for the next leg of the tour, decorating their tree with the help of Steve from the Build Centre, his wife AnneMarie and their daughter Poppy. Aswell as the usual baubles and lights, the Build Centre kindly donated one industrial strength orange glove, to take centre stage on top of the tree!.......On the final night of the tour, Rich and Hayley were at the Gosport light switch on.   They rounded things off with live music and performances from the likes of local girl group Essence as well as Gosport schools singing carols. The Mayor and Mayoress of Gosport were special guests, as were Santa and Keith Harris and Orville from the Fernham Hall Panto Dick Whittington!
