Cheryl Gibbs

Cheryl has been with us since April 2006 this year; She finished university last year after studying for a BA HONS degree in journalism and wasn’t really sure what aspect of journalism she wanted to do so spent most of the past year travelling; Cheryl went to do a PR and Marketing internship in New York City last summer which was a fab experience and recently returned from a three month round the world trip with 5 other girls. Travelling is in her blood - she was born in Australia and lived in Papa New Guinea before moving to sunny Portsmouth when she was little and is a big part of who she is.

When she got back from her trip Cheryl saw an advert stating that a radio presenter was needed who had an opinion on absolutely everything which is definitely this girl, so instantly knew that working at The Quay to air her views everyday! Fantastic!

Favourite colour:   Pink – (All girls love pink don’t they?)

Favourite food:  Mexican

Favourite hobby:   Travelling- in any way I can!

Favourite music:   RnB- but I do love the golden oldies too!
