Chris Wise or 'Wisey' is our Pompey Live commentator, travelling everywhere with the Blues. He also hosts the Football Hour with Mark Mudie throughout the season to discuss all things Pompey.
After originally joining as part of the Sports Team in the summer of 2006, he became Head of Sport at the station in August 2007.
Wisey's main passion is Pompey.
He's the main matchday commentator for the Blues and travels up and down the country with the 'Pompey Live' team bringing you unrivalled coverage of the number one team on the south coast. Along with the commentary, he also presents an hour of the pre-match build-up.
In 2008, Wisey was named 'Newcomer of the Year' at the Arquiva Radio awards.
Wisey loves football and when he's not talking on the radio about it, he's either watching it or playing it.
Infact, his whole weekend is taking up by commentating on the Blues, playing Sunday League football and then settling down for some more live coverage on the television!
One of his proudest moments was getting to commentate on Pompey in the FA Cup Final and subsequently in Europe as well.
Wisey lives down by the seafront in Pompey and can be found playing tennis, watching cricket or chilling out on Southsea beach when there is no football on over the summer months and the sunshine is out.
He enjoys going to see live music and takes an interest in Indie music. Favourite bands include Coldplay, Maximo Park, Athlete, Air Traffic and Razorlight amongst many others.
Other pastimes include eating out and going back to visit his family and friends in his home town of Stubbington.
