John reads the travel news on The Home Run weekday afternoons from 4. You can occasionally also hear him presenting.
John always wanted to work in radio. The first station he worked on was sadly closed down when his bedroom got repainted in 1987, he was 9.
His voice has been heard reading the travel news on various stations all over the UK for the past few years - he even has had his own radio show too.
He spent five years working for P&O Portsmouth as a chef on the Pride of Hampshire and Pride of Le Havre sailing back and forth to France a few times a day, but he prefers a level life on dry land now.
He is Isle of Wight born, but no longer lives there. He is pretty useful on long journeys as a human sat nav and knows far too much about motorway junctions.
