After loosing the tennis yesterday Andy Murray, probably will be focusing on his hidden talent, his singing career... We heard yesterday the radio ad for Murray-Oke and now following that we heard the ad for Murray Up Andy, the next album, with his own version of Will.I.Am's Heartbreaker, Tie Breaker! Clever!

Hayley wanted to get some-thing off her chest this morning, some-thing that's been annoying her for some-time, but the icing on cake was yesterday when the postman did it!!! Winking, that's what she was on about, she said she hates it! Thinks it's cringy, cheesy and can't think of any situation when winking is appropriate!!! It was a mixed view from you guys, most of you disagreed with her saying you don't mind the odd wink, some of you wink alot, some of you think it's sexy!

And a few though who agreed with Hayley and did understand how it's abit cringy and should only done by granddad's...

Weds 2nd July  

So Pompey have a new striker, Ben Sahar on loan from Chelsea, Rich was explaining to Hayley all about him but not really sure how to say his surname? The posh way Sarrr Harrr or Say Ha? Hayley had a question though ''if he is on loan do you have to pay for him, or what happens?'' Rich explained that ''you don't have to pay unless you decide to sign them at the end of the loan'', Rich also said ''if they buy them though they should keep the receipt incase they change their mind!'' Hayley wondered though ''what happens if you loose the receipt? Do you get a gift voucher?''

  Rich had a frustrating moment last night when he finally realised how to use his blinds in his flat, after 6 months!!! This is some-thing as an adult he should have been able to do but he couldn't! Hayley still doesn't know how to put staples in a stapler which she should have learnt by now too! You also had loads too, things you really should know how to do but you don't, there was tying balloons up, using a cork screw, using a tin opener, spelling certain words, putting air in your tyres and cracking an egg without breaking it!!!

  Also this morning Rich and Hayley managed to get their hands on the new radio ad for Andy Murray's new album, yes, you all couldn't believe your ears when you heard the other talent of Andy Murray, is incredible singing... have a listen...

Tues 1st July  

So Andy Murray won his match yesterday and looked quite excited but when it came to expressing his victory in words he actually didn't sound that chuffed! Rich and Hayley were wondering what he would be like as a dj and Rich's impression was spot on! Also whilst Rich was watching the match last night, he noticed a slight change in Andy's girlfriend, she usually comes across quite posh and chilled but she was getting really excited yesterday whilst watching him, in fact more excited than him...

It seems to be the summer of weddings for Rich and Hayley this year, Hayley has 2 but Rich has 5!!! And he was struggling on what to get as gifts? You all had loads of suggestions including JR's idea to get a blow up mattress for them, so when they argue one has some-where else to sleep! Nice thought!

Rich thought he could get away with buying them all the same gift, even give them merchandise from the station!!! Hayley was quick to say no!!! and that he should be more thoughtful! Then came the suggestion of doves! And Rich liked that idea!!! Some how this conversation got to the stage of Rich thinking what he could give Hayley for when she gets married, and he thought he could give her a live game, in the church of Celebrity Battleships!!!

What on earth was he thinking??? Every-one thought this was a ridiculous idea apart from Dave who would happily have Battleships at his wedding!!

Mon 30th June  

Rich and Hayley back from their hols today, with a few changes to the show...

  Rich had been on another stag do over the weekend in New Quay and this time and....wait for it..... he pulled.... I know, it's a shock but he did! Her name was Becca and she was from up north! But Rich and Hayley were unsure what to call it, did he pull her or is he far to old to be calling it that! Your suggestions were, ''got lucky'', ''wooed her'', ''picked up'', ''caught'' as in courting I think? What ever you called it, it certainly didn't sound right calling it ''pulled''! He also told us that Becca had lead Rich to the water to try to convince him to go Skinny Dipping! He declined her offer and some of you wondered why!!! You thought he had missed out there!

  Rich and Hayley both had rather painful experiences over the weekend too...Hayley went with boyfriend Tom to book a holiday and worried that they may disagree slightly in the process,  decided to have signs to let each other that they should go away and think about it before they booked! This was after an hour and a half that Hayley did her ''sign'' so Hayley wanted to apologise to Dean from Thomas Cook for maybe letting him think he was going to get a sale and then...not! Rich's painful experience was watching the football last night, all that shouting and jumping around whilst... on his own!!!

So Hayley was back today after a few day's off sick. She had a confession first off and she needed help...

  Whilst at home on the sofa, ill, she had become addicted to Big Brother! Watching the evening episodes but also tuning in, during the day!!! And she even admitted to last night checking the internet for the latest gossip from the house... Some-body help her... Rich did as much as he could, but he needed your advice to help Hayley get over this!

Sue suggested locking her in a room, watching hours and hours of it, starting from the first series! No food, just Big Brother. That would do the trick! Some of you thought she should see a doctor!

  Hayley also found out today that France were of course out of Euro 2008! But she was pleased to hear that because Rich hadn't kept to his side of the bargain and not watched the game, that the slave bet was now off! Hayley didn't fancy giving him another foot rub so she was happy!

  Rich and Hayley are off for a week and back on Monday week, the 30th of June, with a few changes to The Morning Portion...

This morning Rich was once more flying solo on the show, with Hayley still suffering from a cold!

  To start with Rich talked about how fast the sales counter goes on petrol pumps now that fuel is at a premium...making it hard to hit the 20 quid marker bang on, leaving him desperately searching for coppers in the car!

  Also, we asked about your thoughts on the new Pompey stadium plans. Rich thought it looked like something from a James Bond movie (he would!) - infact he tried to be specific...but when he thought it was Thunderball, he was quickly corrected by Kev, that the movie where something rose from the water was The Spy Who Loved Me - take it from us, Rich was embarrased, and he calls himself an expert!

  Finally, we got your thoughts on what it should be called...The Pompey Bowl, the Solent View Stadium...all sorts!

  Rich will be back tomorrow from 5, as for Hayley, watch this space!

Weds 18th June  

Well, this morning poor old Hayley didn't make it in to work, turns out she'd been struck down with a nasty cold! Well, that's what most of you thought, however there were people who suggested that because Hayley had officially LOST the Euro 2008 challenge, she was hastily avoiding her impending forfeit.

  After some thought, and messages from you lot, Rich admitted that he didn't keep his side of the bargain by not watching the game, so he agreed to waver the forfeit for Hayley, in the hope that she'd return tomorrow!

  Rich did manage (fairly) well on his tod. He also asked about going to the cinema as kids, trying not to cry at the end of E.T. to avoid the inevitable mickey taking...

  The question is, will Hayley return from her mystery illness tomorrow, and will Rich tell her that he agreed to not force her into being slave for the day again after she lost the Euro 2008 challenge?

More tales from the IOW festival from Rich and Hayley today started with Rich's Not Celeb Watch! He was trying to convince Hayley over the weekend that he had seen various celebrities. On Friday he thought he saw Liam Gallagher's son! Because there was a young boy backstage who had abit of a rocker look, long hair, leather jacket! They had previously seen Nicole Appleton who is of course married to Liam Gallagher, so Rich tells Hayley ''It's gotta be his son'' but it turns out it wasn't at all, it was just the son of a local journalist! Then it was Russell Brand, he was telling Hayley '' If you just look over there, about to walk out from behind the van you'll see Russell Brand'' Hayley was very excited by this, but as he walks closer it isn't Russell Brand at all, he just had similar hair!!!

  It's France against Italy in Euro 2008 tonight and a big game for France and for Hayley as this decides whether she is to be Rich's slave for the day! She was having abit of a strop today, saying she didn't want to be the slave and wasn't going to do it! Rich said she could drop out but it would then mean, if France do get through and end up beating Croatia (Rich's team) then she looses out on him being her slave for the day too!

It was a tough decision as she really, really, really doesn't want to be a slave, again! But after all of your advice, she decided to stick with the deal! They also both agreed not to watch the game tonight for abit of suspense in the morning...has Hayley made the right decision?

So a very tired, abit smelly Rich and Hayley were live from studio's in the IOW this morning, after being at the IOW festival! They even slept at the studio's last night rather than bearing another night in a field with the tent! They had a brilliant time and this morning we heard parts of it, mostly who they spoke too.

They interviewed loads of celebs, The Sugarbabes, Scouting For Girls, The Zutons, James, One Night Only, Star Sailor, Newton Faulkner. Hayley thought Rich was very obviously flirting with Heidi from the Sugarbabes and Rich was slightly embarrassed when Hayley asked Newton Faulkner about his hair...

They'll be plenty more tales from the festival tomorrow from 5am...

Fri 13th June  

Rich and Hayley are off this morning to the IOW festival and whilst they're are there they are going to be interviewing some of the bands... Rich, still not 100%on going and still trying to think of ways to get out of it thought that by asking the bands some weird, slightly annoying questions, they might get chucked out! He thought he could get Hayley to do her Kate Nash impression to her to see what she thinks? Maybe they could say to the Sugarbabes ''We really loved your song Love Machine'' knowing full well that it was by Girls Aloud! Also knowing that Sting, who is at the festival with the Police, is known for his tantric skills in the bedroom, Rich wanted to ask him ''Could he last as long as the Morning Portion does every morning?'' The Delays are there to, the band from Southampton so Rich and Hayley wanted suggestions from you as to what they could ask them? Of course, you all had loads including asking them ''Would you rather be top of the charts or top of the league?''

  It was a good day for Rich yesterday as Croatia beat Germany in Euro 2008, Hayley a little concerned about France as that's the team she is supporting, they play Holland tonight so we'll have to wait and see.

Thurs 12th June  

Rich and Hayley are off to the IOW Festival tomorrow for the whole weekend! And Rich was feeling slightly nervous this morning, not having done the whole camping thing before he was after some advice! Your camping stories and experiences and a few things to add to a checklist!

  Suggestions that a canoe might be needed over the weekend, because the weathers not looking too hot! Loo roll was popular too, a gazebo to keep the tents dry! Baby wipes you all said, were a must too! Hayley added all these to the list and in true gamehost style, did a camping conveyor belt for Rich to see if he had been paying attention to every-thing he will need, a cuddly toy of course was in there too!

  There was a few offers from all of you who are going to the festival, for Rich and Hayley to shelter and Ian offering Rich a shower if he wanted one, in his static caravan, only thing is, it was a boys trip so Hayley wasn't allowed!!!

  Rich was reminiscing his cub scout days thinking that the festival will similar but think he soon realised it's going to be very different!

Weds 11th June  

So Hayley was complaining this morning about her sore behind after a bike ride last night to the pub... she had agreed to ride with boyfriend Tom yesterday morning, but as the day went on she began to regret her decision.

This morning Rich asked about her bike ride and she went on that she was very sore but she did it for Tom to be a good girlfriend, he really wanted to ride so she felt she had done the right thing. She felt some-times he didn't appreciate how much she does, how hard it is getting up at 4am every morning and to ride a bike! But she said she did it and she was proud!

Then the phone rang... and it was Tom! Oops! Tom revealed to us all that Hayley did not ride to the pub, nor did she have a sore bum, he said ''she got on for 5 minutes, rode to the bottom of the road and then straight back home, got in her car and drove!''

The little liar! You all thought, Hayley was annoyed her secret had come out, not thinking Tom would ever phone in and tell every-one! Then came her list of excuses, she didn't have time to buy a gel seat, she was tired, she didn't want to leave her friends birthday early because she had to ride home and go to bed cause she has to get up early! And it was hot!

You all started to come round, to understand why she may have told a white lie. ''Maybe it was because Rich would have given her a hard time if she had told the truth?'', you said. She did feel bad...

Tues 10th June  

Today Rich and Hayley talked Tupperware...yep Tupperware, the plastic air tight storage containers! This came about yesterday after Helen Head in news made a delicious carrot cake for Rich's birthday. She wasn't here on Friday for the big day so she brought it in on Monday in the biggest Tupperware box you have ever seen! Almost the size of the microwave or a small telly! But what does the size of your box say about you? Obviously that Helen is a professional, organised, clean cook, Hayley was slightly concerned she doesn't have a Tupperware box of this size.

It turned out Tupperware was extremely popular with all of you, having had Tupperware parties and owning many products from the Tupperware range, Sue pointed out thought that this was very 1980's and maybe times were changing in the storage world and now we should be changing to blue clicker tubs? Yes this really did happen on today's show, Rich and Hayley did spend the morning talking Tupperware. Sorry!

  About 9.30 this morning Hayley received a text from boyfreind Tom asking if they could cycle to a meal they are going on tonight, he really wants to. Hayley was expressing her concern for her bum, after finding this out, she has the most uncomfortable seat in the world on her bike and needed options!

Mon 9th June  

So on Friday night all at Quay towers had a surprise night out to Butlins in Bognor, abit of a work get together but also to celebrate Rich's birthday! Early this morning Rich and Hayley were remembering events of the weekend but by using only 2 words, to see if it jogged the other's memory! It started with Hayley saying to Rich''Face wipe''? Hmmmmm for a while he could not remember, then it dawned!

At the meal part of the evening the boss here at The Quay told Rich to sit on the chair as she made him up! Yep covered him with make up, Rich didn't fight this, being a good sport he took it on the chin or the face, whilst she covered his face with mostly eye liner! After about 10 minutes realising what he had let her do to his face, he thought he should maybe try and get it off! Soap and water did the most of it but when he woke on Saturday morning the remainder of the eye liner was still there. So when Hayley saw him that morning she saved him with a face wipe!

Another 2 words that cropped up were ''Napkin inferno'' and this was again at the meal where a napkin managed to set on fire by a candle! All the girls were screaming but they were sooned saved by Wisey who poured lemonade over the flame and saved the day! Hayley has been singing Mariah Carey's hero to him ever since! He pretended not to like but it turned out, he liked the singing he just wanted a different song, Hero by Enrique Iglesias!

It's Rich's birthday!!! Woo Hooooo!

  The celebrations started early this morning with Hayley letting Rich have an extra hour in bed and coming in at 6, whilst Hayley secretly decorated the studio! As he arrived she made him dress up in various birthday accessories including a hula hula garland, a birthday hat and a badge, they read out some birthday cards, one from his mum and dad and one from all the children in year 2 at West Hill Pre Prep who sang on the Morning Portion 5-10 song! Then it was on to the surprises, first off was a montage of people wanting to wish Mr Hurst their birthday wishes, in there was some familiar voices from The Quay also his mum, James Bond, Caroline from Dial A Date and Kimberley from Girls Aloud!!! Yes it was! Well.....

  Then on a birthday battleships Rich and Hayley had 4 people on to play, but it was Lisa who won the tickets to see Britain's Got Talent! Every-one got a party bag!!!

  Then at 9 it was time for the next surprise, which Hayley asked Rich to try and guess, so she gave him some clues... it was all about feet, his Ow Big Toe, the foot massage he made her give him when she was the slave for the day after the charity day at Fontwell, it was of course a pedicure!!! Happy Birthday Rich!

Rich and Hayley read in the paper today about the England friendly game against Trinidad and Trebaigo being disallowed because of the substitute situation, there were 7 on for England rather than 6.

This angered them both and they decided that Hayley should front the campaign to try and get the decision changed! So she got on the phone...and spoke to Sepp Blatter, she introduced her self and started to explain her reasoning behind her campaign... ''Jermaine Defoe one of my favourite players, a future footballing legend, scores 2 goals for England, not 1 but 2, how can you take that away from him and not only him, his family, his friends, the people of Portsmouth? Tell me that? And another thing'', she went on, ''do you know the meaning of the word friendly?'' She had looked it up in the dictionary... Sepp Blatter refused to listen to any more of her rambling! And hung up with a rather strange choice of French words, ''Allo allo, soup de jour and adios!'' Sepp Blatter sounded to me a little like Rich Hurst!

  Rich and Hayley picked their teams to support during Euro 2008 today, it was either going to be France or Croatia because of the Pompey connections. They chose by playing Foot Ball Bags, also known as throwing tea bags into mugs! Hayley ended up with France and Rich got Croatia!

Weds 4th June  

So last night was Rich's spiritual reading with physic medium Paul Cissell. Wisey from the Home Run was also having a reading done with Rich so they met last night to get in touch with the spirits!!!

It left Rich feeling a little bit paranoid this morning after hearing from Paul that Rich's Gran was trying to get in touch, she was warning him of a woman, who he may work with, who may be out to get him, be jealous, may be trying to stab him in the back! Well that was it, Rich now thinks that Hayley is after him, after the number one spot as he put it! Hayley said this is utter nonsense! Ridiculous in fact! They're team, Fred and Ginger, The Chuckle Brothers, Rich and Hayley! She wouldn't do that, would she???!!!

  After watching Trinny and Susannah on tv last night in The Great British Body, Hayley wanted to try out one of the tests they did on Rich, it was all about first impressions. Apparently it only takes 7 seconds to make a judgement of some-one when meeting them for the first time. Hayley showed Rich 3 pictures of women and he rated them out of 10 based on first impressions, lets just say he was veerrryyy picky!!!

Tues 3rd June  

Rich has his physic reading done tonight with Paul Cissel as part of the Tuning In show with Paul Alland on Friday 13th June! And today Rich and Hayley were preparing him, talking about what could happen and Hayley's thoughts on it... First off, Hayley admitted that she didn't fancy being a guinea pig for this sort of thing, where as Rich was quite up for it. She would rather be a guinea pig for a hair salon or some-thing, but did she believe? Well she said 'she did, but only because she thought if she didn't then the demons might get her'!!! Rich thought this was ridiculous... but she went on, she thought that all the funny feelings she gets some-times, the erge to do some-thing she shouldn't might actually happen if she gets in touch with the sprits!!! Weird? Well you ALL thought so, apart from Sue who thought she only gets like this because of spending to much time with Rich!!!

  An entertaining part of the show this morning, or not! Was when Rich spotted in The Sun this morning a picture of 2 very nice cars speeding down the M27. They were trying to guess exactly which part of the road was, in a very geeky spot the road way! Some-body help them!!!

The countdown begun today for Rich's birthday on Friday! And Hayley admitted this morning she was struggling in what to get him? She's only really known Rich for 5 months and so she asked for your help, what would be the best present she could get Rich?

You all had loads of suggestions some good and some...random! The most popular choice was of course a girlfriend, but she can't work miracles, so what else? Well there was an alarm clock, a tie? A James Bond box set...and ironing board cover which makes a naked lady disappear when it heats up? Kimberley from Girls Aloud, Hayley already said she couldn't work miracles, a season ticket and a Nintendo wii. He'll have to wait and see...

It was the Oki 6's at the weekend at the training ground in Eastleigh and Rich went down to watch and he actually got a game, although he got in abit of a tackle with one of the players on the Southampton team and has now a very bad big toe. Ouch!

Fri 30th May  

Hayley was telling her story this morning of her surf lesson she had in Cornwall over the weekend. The teacher was Deano and she met him out side a surf shop in Cornwall where Tom had arranged to meet him. It was all arranged on the internet so they didn't know what he looked like or any-thing. As they pulled up outside Tom wound down his window and shouted 'Deano' and this man turned and said 'yeah' he looked the part and they followed him to get their wet suits.

Then Rich pointed out that this could have been any-one and out came the questions... Rich asked 'was he wearing shorts' Hayley said no 'did you actually surf' Hayley said no 'Did you see him surf' Hayley said no! In Hayley's defence she probably didn't surf because of her, cause she was abit rubbish and they ran out of time to see him surf! Rich and all of you thought she'd been had! But she was adamant she hadn't!

  Andy Awford came on this morning to talk about the Oki 6's which takes place at the Eastleigh training ground on Sunday at 1.30pm!!! He also reminded us of Rich's time in goal at the tournament last year where he let a goal in! Riiiiicccchhhhhhhh!!!

We heard more tales today from Rich's trip to Bulgaria for the stag do. He explained to Hayley and the rest of us about a certain club that he visited TWICE! It was really good he explained and the music was brilliant, but all of a sudden there would be a car crash of songs and it would go from some dancey tune to YMCA or Rhythm is a Dancer or Simply The Best... After explaining all this Rich mentioned that the best man had found some-thing out about the club and that Rich should type the club name which is Club Exit into Google...  

So they did... and well it wasn't what Rich and Hayley imagined, Club Exit was actually a gay bar! Rich was a little gobsmacked and Hayley just laughed! A lot! He said that they didn't realise, there were girls in there, the were boys kissing girls, you never would have known! Well Hayley didn't believe that for one second... so Rich called on another source, some-one to stick up for him spending 2 nights in a gay bar! Roy, the father of the bride came on to defend Rich, but he didn't really and along with the rest of you all, they just continued to wind Rich up!!! Some of you had already guessed it was a gay bar by the music, surely Rich knew it was too! But he says he didn't and he's sticking to it!

So they're back! Rich from Bulgaria and Hayley from Padstow! With lots of stories...

  We found out on Friday before Rich went, that he had been paired with a Southampton fan for the Stag do quiz and he was wondering how he would cope? Well today we found out how he did, indeed cope. He just constantly told the Southampton fan his answers were wrong! Rich didn't except anything he said, would not right down any of the answers he suggested. And then when Hayley asked Rich how they did in the quiz, he said they came about 2nd to last! Then she asked were any of the Southampton fan's answers right, Rich after a while said infact most of his answers were right! Hayley tried to make Rich say sorry, admit he was wrong but would he do that... no!

  Rich also sprung on Hayley he had brought her a present back from Bulgaria. She felt awful as she hadn't got him a thing! She closed her eyes and he handed her the long tube shaped thing which when she opened her eyes saw an authentic Bulgarian... tube of Smarties!!!

  She deserved these after the weekend Hayley had whilst camping! She had a near death experience when she managed to set the camping stove and table on fire, whilst making a cup of tea. Hayley, Tom and friends Sarah-Jane and Jeremy were all having a lovely day until the fire broke out. In a true 999 style Rich as Michael Burke, Hayley as herself, re told the story...

As Rich and Hayley get ready for the bank holiday, Hayley prepares to go to Cornwall, camping and surfing!!! Rich is going to Bulgaria for a stag do, they're doing a quiz while they are there, have been put in to teams and he is with a Southampton supporter! How will he cope? You all had loads of idea's, wear your FA Cup shirt! Sit at other sides of the room, just talk about the cup all the time! What would the team name be... Hayley reckoned it had to be some-thing funny but some-thing that Mr Southampton wouldn't get! The Fay Pop Men was suggested, which is an anagram of Pompey Fan!  

Also this morning, a Pompey Monopoly board will be out from October and the promoters for Monopoly will be out in Portsmouth today getting your suggestions, Rich and Hayley took some of yours and then put them to Graham Barnes, one of the promoters. There was Fratton Park, Spinnaker Tower, Commercial Road, one of the piers, the Historic Dockyard, Albert Road, Gunwharf. There was also suggestions of what could go on the Community Chest/Chance cards, like pass the sails get £200, get out of Gunwharf car park free card, Pompey win the Champions League automatic win!!!

  So Rich and Hayley off on their hols for a couple of days! And back Wednesday from 5am...

Weds 21st May  

After hearing on the news yesterday that Harrison Ford is going to be replaced as Indiana Jones by a new actor...  Rich thought this could be him! Hayley laughed when he said this  telling him he was far to geeky  and not manly  enough  so  could never play Indiana Jones! She thought he was more Crocodile Dundee than Indy !  

  You all pointed out good reasons why Rich would not make a good Indiana Jones, Les reckoned he would be more of a Bridget Jones!!! 

  So Rich decided to prove his acting skills and pulled out a script from one of the films, Hayley was to be Elsa and Rich to play Indiana... He was terrible;  hideous  in fact  and  proved that he would be no good...  !!  

However 10 minutes later, like a diva, he demanded another go!   'Another go' Hayley said, 'No way'!!!.  His excuse was that Hayley's accent was terrible and it put him off! So they did it again, this time Rich  put on  an American accent! Which  we  have to admit was a little better! 

  Next Hayley thought she needed to really put Rich to the test, to see his  how  versatile  his  acting  skills were, so she found a Sex and the City script!.  He got into the role of Carrie Bradshaw very well although he said he hated every minute!!! Rich and Hayley asked which you all thought was better and  you all thought his attempt at being Carrie Bradshaw in the Sex and the City audition  was far more convincing than his attempt at being Indiana Jones!!

Weds 21st May  

On this mornings show Rich explained he had abit of a dilemma regarding his plans for tonight...   He wanted to watch the football but he also had a class at the gym that he was thinking of going to.  

The class in question was 'Stretch and Flex'! What is that? I hear you ask? Well apparently it improves flexibility, prevents  injury and improves  sporting  performance. Hayley instantly thought it was just another excuse to meet girls and get a  bit more bendy! She painted for us her imaginary picture of exactly what she thought Rich would like in this class...black cycle shorts, tight vest, you can imagine...

  Half way through this discussion today Hayley, giving Rich another example of what the class might be like, just mentioned the name Lesley...just an example girls name, someone imaginary, the name of some-one who might be in the class . ..  Then this  conversation  just spiralled  out of control !!! 'Why the name Lesley?' Rich asked Hayley . He thought she was a total weirdo, she didn't know why she chose the name Lesley, she just did....

  Then a real Lesley calls the studio wanting to ask Rich what was wrong with the name Lesley, then another Lesley on the phone, this time a man, wanting to know why Rich thought Lesley was a girl name? What had Hayley started? Something out of nowhere!!! Random!

Tues 20th May  

After reading in the news this morning that Glen Johnson and Jamie Ashdown had their FA Cup medals stolen, Rich decided it was time to start up the crime investigation agency and asked Hayley if she wanted to join him! Of course she did, but she insisted they needed a name, some-thing as good as Starsky and Hutch...so Rich comes up Stroppy and Crutch! Hayley being Stroppy and Rich Crutch! Hayley wasn't impressed and asked for better suggestions...you came up with some good ones, Cool and Creepy, Rhubarb and Custard, Mork and Mindy, Bodge it and Scarper, The Quaystone Cops, Zippy and Bungle, Beauty and The Beast and Hayley's particular favourite...Princess and Lego Man Head! The first mystery that needed to be solved took place at Quay Towers yesterday...every-one gathered to have lunch together, abit of a lunchtime party to start at 12.30pm, but before 12.30pm, Rich and Hayley, sorry Princess and Lego Man Head, noticed that the Chilli and Ready Salted crisps had already started being eaten! Who was it? Princess and Lego Man Head felt they really needed to get into the minds of the thieves and that they did......because it was them!!!

Monday 19th May  

What a weekend!!! A very excited, Rich and Hayley reminded us of a brilliant weekend through out this morning! The game on Saturday, where ever you were watching Pompey win was fab! And on Sunday at the common  Harry up on stage, such a memorable weekend!

  Rich and Hayley asking us if it wasn't for Portsmouth's run in the FA Cup .................... wouldn't have happened? And we filled in the gaps! Rob told us he wouldn't have won a lotta dosh if it wasn't for that brilliant goal by Kanu! Alot of you wouldn't have lost your voices!

Hayley's diet wouldn't have gone to pot if Pompey hadn't been in the cup! After eating a curry on Friday night and all that party food on Saturday! And Rich wouldn't have got on stage at the common yesterday in front of all of you and he wouldn't have had his photo with David James! Which totally upset a certain person! Yep Hayley was sooooo disappointed that she managed to miss that! Rich wasn't even smiling in the photo! A very disappointed Hayley left the studio this morning!

Friday 16th May  

On the cup final eve Rich and Hayley along with the rest of us getting excited about Wembley! They asked if any-one had had any omens, any good luck signs that Pompey are going to win? Did you get up today and the only pair of socks left in the drawer for you to wear were blue? We're you following a blue car all the way to work today? Did you have a dream last night about the game? You guys had loads! Including one person who's cat had been missing for a week whilst she moved from Havant to Pompey and the cat returned last night in time for them to go to the big game and not worry! It's gotta be a sign!

  It's Blue 2 Day today and you can go down to the Guildhall to sign the big shirt! The shirt that we all saw flying over the city! Go down and sign it as part of Respect day! Respecting yourself and the city!

There was more of Catch Out Cardiff on today's show as Rich and Hayley try to get the People of Cardiff supporting Pompey with out even knowing!

Hayley was up first and she called a kitchen appliance shop asking if they had any big cups? Any big silver cups? Silver cups with blue and white ribbon hanging from it? Don't think the man on the phone even got what Hayley was trying to get at... Even when she said is that because the cup will be with Pompey at the weekend? He just said I don't know!

Rich got on the phone to some printing companies and they actually agreed to print up t-shirts saying CCFA Losers of the FA Cup 2008! They had no problem doing that what so ever, didn't batter an eyelid! If a Cardiff radio station phoned some-one in Pompey, would that happen, we don't think so!  

Rich and Hayley told us today where they will be on Saturday morning as they present the Morning Portion Wembley style, from Blue Check restaurant, Empire Way, Wembley from 9am - 1pm! You can join them too, see the Pompey website for more details!

Wednesday 14th May  

Yesterday the boss at Quay towers asked Rich and Hayley to build international relations! To bring the people of Portsmouth and Cardiff together, a kind of getting to know each other session. So Rich and Hayley took that as 'lets make prank phone calls and get the people of Cardiff to look like they support Pompey!'  

Hayley was first and she arranged for a delivery of flowers to her old uni friend 'Laura'? She asked for the colours blue and white and for it to be delivered on Saturday! She also asked for a message and explained that as Laura was an old Uni friend, it was abit of a secret message, an old joke between them! She asked for Plee Yup Porm Pea!!! Then she asked for the florist to read it back...and there it was, a Cardiff fan supporting Pompey!

Hayley made a little error in the fact she forgot to put the digits in that made your number unknown, so the florists phoned back and she had to apologise! Rich was up next, he also phoned a florist and asked for a bouquet to be sent to Dave Jones saying 'Sorry for your loss on Saturday at Wembley'!!!

A big day today as the queue got longer down at fratton park as the last 700 tickets went on sale today for the big game on Saturday!

Rich set a challenge at around half 8 today for Hayley to go down and join every-one in the queue at Fratton Park today but also to feed them! At such short notice she managed to get Phil from Krispy Kreme to come down and feed all you hungry fans doughnuts! Yum! Hayley got her FA Cup shirt today and in her best supermodel attempt gave the queue abit of a fashion show! You can get yours now to for just £45!

  Paper Pillow talk this morning we heard from a girl who's friends kept embarrassing her by telling the bloke she fancied that she picks her nose! This then lead to a confession from Rich  about getting caught picking his nose whilst on a date, yuk! No wonder he hasn't had one since!

Monday 12th May  

Hayley went to her cousins 18th on Saturday night and she found out some-thing that her whole family have apart from her!

After a few guesses she told us she is the only one in her family who doesn't have a middle name! It sounds abit dramatic but it's some-thing that has always bothered her and now knowing that all of her family have one and she is the only one who hasn't, well that made her feel really left out! It was even more important to Hayley that she had a middle name after finding out what Hayley meant, some-thing to do with hay clearing! Rich was quite impressed with the meaning of his name, his meant brave and power, he was well happy! So today, Rich with the help of you guys tried to come up with a middle name for Hayley, there we're loads of brilliant suggestions, Jane, Peaches Trixiebell, Pompeyette, Sunshine, Princess, Pink, Whitney, Leona, Dorris! She wanted them all!!!

Friday 9th May  

Rich had an annoying day yesterday when he spent a ridiculous amount of time on the phone to his bank! All he needed to know was a very simple question, what address is his card registered to? After listening to all the questions and all the options he finally got through to some-one, they said hello asked him a question and Rich hung up!!! After all that. Obviously he didn't do it on purpose, it was an accident, but he then had to go through the whole process again! Thinking he now knew all the options he just jumped straight through them and ended up at the starting your own business! Ooops!

Hayley had the same sort of problem when on the phone to her mobile phone company, she was having problems remembering her password and played a guessing game with the man on the phone until she got it right!

  Rich and Hayley gave away Pompey tickets today for the game against Fulham at the weekend! Considering it's the last game of the season, the last 2 tickets and the last day of the week, they asked, what was the last thing you laughed at? There was some crackers! But it was Steve who got the tickets with his funny story of his wife at the cinema!

Thursday 8th May  

Hayley had abit of a nightmare this morning, she was abit surprised, a little embarrassed and thought it was abit weird that she had done this! Rich spent the first hour of the show wondering what on earth she was going on about... and you all had a few idea's of why Hayley was abit late today... well, she fell asleep on the toilet!!! She got up, first thing, went to the loo and a while later she woke up!!! If she could fall asleep there where else could she fall asleep? What is the weirdest place you have fallen asleep? In the cinema, at work in a meeting, fallen asleep in food or even during the act of luuurrve!!!

  Rich was at the end of season dinner last night and in true showbiz reporter style he gave us the run down of the winners including Goal Of The Season winner chosen by all you listeners to The Quay. The winning goal was from Noe Pamerot in the game against Newcastle. 

  Rich and Hayley also had big news today... Not only do 107.4 The Quay have 2 tickets to the FA Cup final to give away but how will you get there? Only in... a helicopter!!! Yes you heard right we are going to fly you on the morning of the 17th to Wembley to watch the game! See the website for details!!!

Well, was it a bird, was it a plane or was it...... no it wasn't superman!!!

It was a plane but with some-thing very big attached! On Friday we found out that flying over Portsmouth there would be some-thing very spectacular flying over the city and you guys had your own idea's on what it could be... Was it a message for some-one? Was it a big FA Cup? Was it the Pompey flag? Was it a picture of Rich with his phone number on it? Was it Tom proposing to Hayley?! But no... Is wasn't any of these, it was the brand new Portsmouth away kit! It was massive, size tripple XL, maybe bigger! Rich and Hayley took a step outside the studio to get a good glimse and first saw it about 9.15am this morning and what a beautiful day for it!

Wisey was down at Fratton Park watching the skies there, waiting for it to fly over and he also found out that Pompey will be wearing the new kit on Sunday when they play Fulham!

What a busy show today! Rich and Hayley spoke to REM Fm in Spain first of all, Gary Benham and The Spanish Supporters Club were 2nd in TOTPP with their song Come On You Pompey! Gary was pleased with the result and all the proceeds the song makes will go to the Tom Prince Charity!

 

Then Rich and Hayley were joined by Phil Swan and Mike Fowler and the rest of the band as they performed the fans favourite, We're On Our Way!!! It was a little squashed in the studios but they all managed to squeeze in give us a brilliant rendition of We're On Our Way!

Tonight is the Regional Final of Live and Unsigned down at South Parade Pier and Rich has ordered new trainers for the occasion and he is slightly panicking as they haven't arrived yet! What will he do?!

Hayley is off to a fancy dress party this Saturday night and was asking today what should she and boyfriend Tom should go as, it needed to be a pair, a duo a famous double act and also from the stage or screen!!! You guys had so many suggestions... Batman and Robin, Laurel and Hardy, Fred and Wilma, Bonnie and Clyde, Tom and Jerry, The Chuckle Brothers, Prince Charming and Cinderella, Posh and Becks, Danny and Sandy and even Rich and Hayley, Hayley going as Rich and Tom going as Hayley!

Tomorrow is when we find out which is your favourite song in TOTPP, which one will the fans be singing at Wembley? It's a tough choice but who will it be, find out tomorrow...

Friday 25th April  

We heard the last two songs on TOTPP today, they were, We're Back by Gary Benham and The Spanish Supporters Club and We're On Our Way by Phil Swan and Mike Fowler. Which is your favourite? Which should the fans be singing on the way to Wembley? Vote now!!!

In another With £10k Without £10k, Rich and Hayley compared what your house would be like if you had that extra £10k!!! The Kitchen having a dishwasher, always lovely food in the fridge, maybe even a chef to cook for you on special occasions! The Lounge, with a plasma tv, home cinema, Sky +, and recline chairs! Last night at The Kings was Mum's The Word which Rich and Hayley went to see and they met Bernie Nolan! The play, they said was hilarious, slightly put Hayley off having babies and I think Rich learnt a thing or two about the ladies but they laughed lots and some-times a little to loudly! They had a little bit of extra entertainment from the slightly underdressed woman in front, who did abit of unintentional flashing!!!

Happy St. George's Day!

Rich and Hayley started referring to each other as George this morning but it was soon pointed out by you guys that they couldn't both be George, one of them had to be the dragon and that was Hayley! She didn't mind as she was feeling in abit of a dragoness mood today!

Rich had read in the paper this morning about Burger King. They are apparently bringing out an £85 burger! With the best beef, blue cheese and truffle mushrooms! Rich and Hayley both decided that they wouldn't pay that much and were quite happy with cheddar and a bit of ketchup!

On another With £10k Without £10k, Rich and Hayley compared weddings. The location, the reception, the transport, with that extra cash, it could be abroad, in a castle, at Fratton Park with a marquee at the reception, chocolate fountains, a nanny for the kids, a good band and a light up dance floor! Monday 21st April  

With only 12 days to go on the Reverse Text Auction and today being the 1st day that the Wembley tickets go on sale Rich and Hayley were thinking about what sort of difference £10k would make to that already amazing day, how could it be even better! So with £10k..... They started with transport... an air conditioned limo to get you there, painted in blue, with flags, scarf's, the lot, so every-one knows where you are going, recline seats for a comfortable snooze on the way up. A monster sound system to play out those Wembley Pompey tunes. TV's on the back of seats and champagne on ice! Perfect!

And without £10k, still a brilliant day, but a packed train, slightly panicking, incase of delays, soggy sandwiches in a packed lunch and a dodgy coach driver who's radio doesn't work!

  Also today another bid update today from Bid Update HQ, which left Natashe Plykinsky in tears!!!

Thursday 17th April  

It was the Charity Football match last night and Rich came back with a few stories? Hayley and the rest of you weren't really sure whether to believe him? He said he started the match and played for 65 mins! He also said that Alan Knight told him he was the man of the match in his eyes!

Then there was a text from Dave saying he wanted to know what the ref said to him? Basically Dave had heard on the Football Hour last night some-one call in who was at Fratton Park watching the match and they had said Rich was getting a good talking to from the ref and that no-way did he deserve man of the match! Rich couldn't believe it and was certain that he didn't get in trouble with the ref and he had a good game! So he gets Touchline Tony on...and in Rich's defence Tony tells us all Rich did play a good game, but he wasn't there at the Alan Knight compliment so Hayley and the rest of you still had your doubts about that bit!

  Hayley had a physic moment today on Celebrity Battleships! She guessed 4 out of 6 grid references that today's contestants chose! It was abit spooky! She took a guess at a few other things, the lottery, 1st goal scorer on Saturday for Pompey and a possible low bid for the Reverse Text Auction... Will she be right?

Tuesday 15th April  

As the Reverse text Auction got under way yesterday Rich and Hayley thought it would be a good idea to see what you, the people of Portsmouth would spend £10,000 on! There were many different idea's including one man who would spend the money on an extreme sports holiday!!! Yeah! The most extreme Hayley's ever got on a holiday was going on one of those pull along doughnut things on the back of a boat and for Rich it was reading a SAS book! Wow!!! Another of your suggestions was to convert your loft with the money or spend it...nooo!

 

As we heard yesterday Rich and Hayley went to the game on Saturday for Hayley's first ever football match and whilst she was there she noticed that there was alot of falling over and asked Rich if that was always the case? She also noticed players on the floor when they hadn't even been touched! What she wanted to do was get on that pitch and have a word!!!

 

For Rich, tomorrow is like Christmas Day! As he plays in a charity football match at Fratton Park tomorrow night! Hayley just hopes that that means she gets a present!

Friday 11th April  

So Hayley was the slave for today!!! She was the loser of the Fontwell Charity challenge! And she was very disappointed! She only raised £36 for The Beneficial Foundation while Rich made £47 for The Tom Prince Charity! So they both didn't do the best but TJ Waste have kindly agreed to double that!

First of all Rich made her perform a poem, which wasn't bad really then it got worse, he made her give him a foot massage! Even though there was a rule that said no physical contact! So not only did he break the rules he put her through touching his feet!!! The last thing Rich made Hayley do was take over the show for half an hour and do Celebrity Battleships! Which she actually enjoyed!

Then out of no-where Rich had a nice moment and told Hayley she could make him her slave for half an hour! So she did...his first challenge was for him to sing The Pussy Cat Dolls! Which he did in a girly american accent! Then his challenge was to perform 1 minute of stand up comedy which he failed miserably! So his punishment was another song, Tom Jones' Kiss! And to top it off he wacked his head on the microphone during it! Funny!

Wednesday 9th April  

After spending the afternoon at Marwell yesterday and comparing animals to celebrities, Rich and Hayley wanted your idea's on celebrities that look like animals and also any family members that look like animals. Yours were very funny but the winner who now has a family trip to Marwell was Katherine who said her husband is like a chameleon, he manages to disappear whenever the baby needs changing!

 

A text came in for the answer of battleships today just saying the word 'moon'! Rich thought that maybe they were instructing him to moon, but obviously it didn't. Then the texts came in saying wave which was fine, slap and kiss, listen to the clip of how this conversation went abit random!!!

Monday 7th April  

What a weekend!!! Pompey win the FA Cup semi final ageist West Brom and are off to Wembley again for the final on the 17th May against Cardiff! And Sunday the 6th April 2008, it only goes and snows!!!

 

Today Rich and Hayley wanted your Wembley memories, where you watched it, who with, how did you feel, we heard from loads of you who said you had the best weekend ever!!! Rich and Hayley as we know didn't go to Wembley, Rich worked and Hayley watched it in her front room in her pj's. We also heard of Hayley's snowman making activities over the weekend, she made Reg the tallest snowman in the world, who unfortunately didn't last that long!

 

Also today Rich had a mean plan to phone Dan the Fan and tell him that the Milan Baros' goal was to be disallowed because of the hand ball! Of course he was lying but poor old Dan believed him for a second, until Rich revealed it was just a big fat fib!!!

Thursday 3rd April  

Today Rich and Hayley, getting ready for Saturday, played to us all their tour of Wembley that they had last Tuesday. They went in the dressing rooms, the actual one Pompey will be using, they sat in all of the different areas of the stadium and tested out the acoustics, they walked through the tunnel and even got to sit in the posh seats where Rich thought it would be cool to fart!

 

They also today picked, at random 2 finalists, Steff Shaw and Alex Baker who will come down to Solent Citroen tomorrow afternoon to play in the final for 2 tickets to Wembley, 2 nights in a hotel, train travel there and back, free dinner and champagne! Happy April Fools!!!

What a busy morning!!! It all started with Hayley trying to get Rich with an April Fools, they both had emails to open this morning about where they were going to be sitting at the semi final! Rich read his email first and it shockingly said he had to work! He couldn't believe it!!! Hayley knew full well that hers would probably say the same but she thought she'd play a little joke and tell Rich that she was going! And he believed her!!! He said he didn't but he did!

So Rich decided to turn it around and dug out a clip of when Hayley the other day was talking about if there was a queue at Fratton Park to buy Wembley tickets that there should be tea and refreshments for every-body and of course, now that there is, Rich has challenged her to provide cakes for tomorrow, she was a little gob smacked???!!! Will she pull off being Delia tomorrow? We'll have to wait and see

Friday 28th March  

Today Rich and Hayley told us of to stories that had happened to them this week. Hayley went to a Body Combat class this week and was highly embarrassed when every-one in the class started shouting what she thought was a particular word? She thought it was either 'killer' or 'higher' she couldn't work it out... Calvin came to the rescue and told her that it's not a word that you say it's just the exhaling of air that makes the noise! Rich was also very embarrassed this week has he didn't realise until after speaking to a number of important people that he had a pack of 3, and we're not talking Crème Eggs on his desk for every-one to see!!!

 

This morning Rich and Hayley announced that there are 2 tickets to the semi final. 2 nights in a hotel, train tickets and champagne up for grabs on 107.4 The Quay! All you have to do is find our C2 Code from Solent Citroen and email or phone the studio with the code that is on the side of that car! After a random debate between Rich and Hayley yesterday on whether Jo Jo the teeny bopper covered Toto's Africa, Rich said yes Hayley thought, what is he on about? It actually turns out that she did cover it! Hayley was wrong! Rich went to great lengths to find out, along with the help of Travel Justin they found the cover!

A little bit different for today's Morning Portion, Hayley was joined by Carl Ralley!!! Hayley and Carl we're new to each other today and so Hayley thought the best way to get to know Carl better and quickly was to do 2 rounds of quick fire questions... She was impressed to find out she was sitting with a fellow Take That fan, infact I think Carl knew more about them than Hayley, but she was abit dissapointed when she asked the question Rich or Hayley! And Carl said Rich! Secretly I think he meant to say Hayley it was just a slip of the tongue!

  Hayley revealed the league table for Premier League Easter Eggs, loser was Carl 'the bike' Ralley and winner was Paul' the hotty' scotty!

Tuesday 18th March  

Yesterday Rich and Hayley introduced us to The Easter Egg Game, it's sooo addictive! And today they were concerned that people taking part in the Easter Egg Game in Quay Towers could be cheating!!! Adding on thousands of points to their scores to make them-selves better! So today we met Detective Richard Hurst, he's French by the way and he is going to solve the crime, find out who the the cheats are!

  Also Rich and Hayley gave another clue to find where the Hendy Kia was taken for the 1st location. The anagram is, I'd lose hail...... Hmmmm? Where could it be? The 2nd location tomorrow...

Friday 14th March  

Yesterday Rich and Hayley went to visit West Hill Pre Prep School to record all of the children in year 2 singing The Morning Portion song, 5-10! They we're amazing and even though Hayley managed to fit a ridiculous amount of words in the chorus they all sounded brilliant!!! Whilst Rich and Hayley were at the school they also got the kids to say a few things to help them out on today's show!  

 

Rich and Hayley also had a visitor, a special guest in today! Not a person but the FA Cup, replica. Very shiny, very big and it got them even more excited about Pompey going to Wembley! Also trying to work out how you actually by tickets for the big game Hayley thought she had come up with the perfect ticket buying idea. An orderly queue, that's all we need, she said, single file, cups of tea, but very busy!

Wednesday 12th March  

   

Today Rich and Hayley played the first song from all the schools that entered Sing Up! They got thinking about what they used to sing at school and how songs in the playground we're so much more fun! High Low Dolly Pepper, Patta Cake Patta Cake, Georgie Porgie, Ging Gang Gooly! There are so many!

So Rich and Hayley set them selves' a challenges, to do last night, to re-write a playground song in a modern style, Hayley had Patta Cake Patta Cake and Rich had K-I-S-S-I-N-G. Hayley did here's in the style of Daniel Powter's Bad Day with abit of a Beatles tune in there too, clever! Rich however failed to do his last night, saying he was to busy waiting to find out what day the FA Cup final is happening?! So after Hayley's very good version of Patta Cake, Rich wrote his to Sugarbabes Ugly this morning! His wasn't bad!

Monday 10th March  

 

After a great weekend in the football department Rich and Hayley were reminiscing about the great game on Saturday! So the horrible whether was balanced out by hearing all the best bits from the Pompey Man U game on Saturday.

   

On Friday Rich and Hayley got thinking about the conversation between Ronaldo and Alex Ferguson in the changing rooms before the game and today they went thought what might have been said between Fergie, Ronaldo, Rio and Rooney! With some dodgy accents in there too!

Thursday 6th March  

As it's Friday tomorrow it's time for another tasty treat, last week Orla make fairy cakes and the week before Hayley made chocolate cornflake cakes.... so tomorrow it's Rich's turn but... as Hayley reminded him of this this morning, he was refusing to do it!!! Hayley couldn't believe this and was very angry that he had agreed to the cake making friday and now he was saying he was to busy, that cooking was girly and that he just wasn't going to do it! When Hayley and Orla offered their help he was beginning to come round and when they convinced him that being able to cook might impress the ladies and that it was fun, he finally agreed! Deciding what to make was the next challenge, you guys had loads of idea's but Rich decided to go with Flap Jacks!!! Hmmmmm Yum!

Tuesday 4th March  

So this morning Hayley woke up to find that boyfriend Tom seemed to have orange hands!!! Very orange hands after kindly agreeing to rub in some fake tan on her back last night coz she couldn't reach. Hayley noticed as she was leaving for work and decided not to wake him up to tell him.

Rich thought she was out of order and considering he had an important presentation today having orange hands wouldn't give the best impression. Hayley thought this was more of a sacrifice that he made as her boyfriend, that thats what you do in a relationship and he had proved he was a dedicated lovely boyfriend as you guys pointed out. Hope-fully it is starting wear off by now, maybe???

Morning all!

   

Today Rich and Hayley took a closer look at the lyrics Hayley has written for their version of Dolly Parton's 9-5, 5-10 all for Sing Up. They were also deciding whether they should sing it or should they get some-one more proffessional to sing it for them? They majority of you went with getting some-one else to sing it...

   

Hayley doesn't just have one Hurst with her tomorrow she has two! As Rich and Hayley are joined by Rich's Dad, Mr Hurst. For the Daddy Cool test... After we found out on Monday that Rich's dad has never had pizza!!! And as his son, Hayley felt Rich shouldn't have let this happen, so Mr Hurst will come in tomorrow to have lessons in coolness! And what he doesn't know, we'll only have Rich to blame!

Monday 25th February  

Morning all!

We discovered today that Rich has been abit of a let down when it comes to teaching his dad what's cool! For example his dad only ate pizza for the first time the other day!!! Surely as a son he shouldn't have let that happen!!! So Hayley decided to delve into what else Rich's dad has been missing out on. Rich hadn't showed him how to send a text message, work a DVD player or even tell him that now you can buy cd's instead of records!

 

Rich and Hayley also asked for you help in finding a word that rhymes with portion for their Morning Portion song that they are putting together as part of Sing Up! They have taken Dolly Parton's 9-5 and are attempting to change the lyrics to make it The Morning Portions 5-10! Help them....!!!

Morning!

 

After a brilliant BRIT awards last night Rich and Hayley managed to get hold of 3 of the live tracks from last nights show. One from Kylie, one from Amy Winehouse and one from Sir Paul McCartney. They only had time for one so Hayley came up with a game called Brit and a Brew!!! Now what Rich and Hayley had to do was throw t-bags, yes t-bags into 3 mugs that were labled with the different artists on, which ever mug the first t-bag landed in that would be the song that was played. Rich got it in first and it was Paul McCartney that won! A very ammusing game, not sure if it'll make it on telly though ay???

 

Rich and Hayley, this week have also been talking about Sing Up, giving local schools the chance to get their singing on the radio! Rich and Hayley decided they would like to write a song about the Morning Portion, by taking a well known song and changing the lyrics around abit! Any ideas? Let them know.

Hi All!

 

So yesterday in the post Rich received his Gladiator application form! He was undecided as to whether to fill it out? The thought of the red lycra out fit was a little off putting but he thought why not, so he filled it out any-way! It had some very random questions... Obviously they wanted to know his age, his weight his height ect, but there was also the question are you single, going out with some-one or abit of both??? Hmmmm and also your BMI? Not being the most clued up on gym stuff Rich and Hayley wondered what this meant! Big Muscle Indicator, no I don't think so... It's you Body Mass Index ie. How fat you are and Rich decided to guess, will we see him on the show? Hmmm I wonder?

Monday 18th February  

Morning All!

 

On Friday, Rich and Hayley had author of 'Six Spiritual Steps to Mend A Broken Heart' Fiona Hickman-Taylor in to advise Rich on his dating issues! She was very helpful and Friday evening was her book launch at Tiger Tiger in Gunwharf, which she very kindly invited Rich and Hayley along to! They managed to accidentally get in to every publicity shot that was being taken purely by standing in the wrong place!

As they arrived they quickly spotted the free pink champers and parked them selves up on the slightly raised area not really realising that would be the place that Fiona made her speech. With not very much time at all to get out of the way they just stood there looking like Fiona's bodyguards while she thanked every-one that was there. If you spot them randomly in a photo let them know!!!

Happy Valentines Day and all that!

 

So today was the end of Rich's mission to find a date for valentines day on Dial A Date! Not only because he actually didn't find one, obviously that played a major part, but also because he decided enough was enough when Mr Scary French Man aka Annette's boyfriend answered her phone... Rich was quite quick to get off the phone and finished the conversation with the only French he knew.... petit poi!

 

Rich also tried 2 other ladies yesterday to try and get a date but they even failed to even answer the phone, maybe they saw his number and thought err no!

 

Hayley thinks Rich needs some help! Find out tomorrow from 5am what she has planned...

Tuesday 12th Feb  

Rich put us all through listening to more Dial A Date's today, in his quest to get a date for this Thursday's Valentines Day! We heard from Amy who remembered him telling her he was a tv presenter! Wait for it..... for Sky 4! Amy soon realised the Sky 4 wasn't even a channel and told Rich she didn't want to go out with him, because she preferred genuine guys! Ha!

 

Then we heard from Jemma, with a J, who was really nice to Rich on the phone telling him to give her a text if he remembered where they had met! Rich was very excited by this. Although Hayley tried to bring him back down to earth by explaining that girls can be nice with out fancying him!!!
